HCG and a busy lifestyle. How to make it work

I have had several people tell me that HCG is not cohesive to someone who leads a busy lifestyle. Being a mom to 4 boys I think I know a little something about a busy lifestyle. Sure I am home 70% of the day but that consists of housework, laundry, playing with my children, calming a fussy baby, preparing meals for the kids, budgeting finances, ironing, couponing, planning, etc.....then there are the times when I am playing taxi, school  bus driver, soccer mom, church, doctors, grocery shopping....you name it! I stay busy!  Do I have the time to make 2 meals a day for myself and then 2 meals (at different times) for my husband and 3 meals for my kids? NO WAY!!! So what do I do???

I make meals ahead of time. With HCG it is perfect because everything is simple and can easily be reheated. For lunch I opt for raw veggies like tomatoes, cucumbers, or lettuce. I grill up a family pack of chicken once a week. I cut the breasts in half and pound them out really thin. They I grill em up and store them in a sealed container. This will last my hubby and I all week. For those who don't want to eat week old chicken I understand. Prep all at once and cook a day or two in advance. On the grill is it super quick and easy. I also do this with ground beef to make burger patties or grill up a couple strips of lean steak at a time. That way you have options and they are 45 seconds away from go time!! Another tip is to buy the fish that is individually wrapped. I know they can cost more but nobody wants to eat reheated fish. This way you can just take out what you want and cook it without having to thaw and cook a whole bag.

The other dilemma that people seem to be having is eating on the go. My solution to this is one that works for me. It may not work for everyone. If I know I am not going to be home in time to eat lunch I will take an apple in my purse to hold me over. I have convinced myself that drive through and the convenience isle at checkouts are off limits. There is no need to even look there because I cant have them!!! Instead grab a bottle of water and chug (yes chug) it. You will instantly feel full!! If you are at a business lunch drink water. You can opt or a garden salad (if you are allowing yourself to mix veggies) with some grilled chicken. Dress it with lemon or vinegar. Get a to-go container and put half of the salad in there to take with you for later. I have done this successfully myself.

If you do mess up it is not the end of the world. Take the next day to reset with an apple day and get back on track!! Loosing weight is a mindset. You are so much more powerful than the food you put in your mouth! Your life is so much more important than that slice of cake. Sure it is yummy but think about how you got where you are at and where you will end up of you don't get control now. Nobody can loose weight for you. Get it in you head that you can do it!! Accept nothing less than success!! Get over the cravings and enjoy the life that God has given you!!! Food is only there to simply sustain our lives. It is not our lives. Hunger pains hurt, that it true. But, the effects of obesity hurt even more. It hurts you and your loved ones. YOU CAN DO IT!!
