OOPS!!! Im paying for that one!! HCG is on fire!!!

Confused by that title? Don't be! Saturday was a family day. We haven't had a Saturday together in a while. The  boys had soccer and then they wanted to go out to eat and get frozen yogurt........Can you see where this is going???? I know I know I know, I shouldn't go off of the HCG diet for any reason but seriously, my kiddos wanted it and I went for it!

A few minutes later I heard the words "Welcome To Moes!" Oh yes, welcome to Moes! I was good I got a salad with no shell and no dressing. I did get beans though. Then we went to my favorite place in the world.....Mochi!!! Frozen yogurt and yummy toppings is like Heaven in a cup. I got a small Strawberry Shortcake yogurt with some almonds, granola, ad a few dark chocolate bits.

Am I paying for my "cheat day"??????

YES!!!!!!!!

I gained a pound and it hasn't fully come off yet :(. I have been back on HCG full for 2 days since then. I upped my water and did tons of yard work today so I expect to see a change tomorrow.

Honestly, I was talking to my husband and I have to admit that I have never felt so good while being on a "diet" before. I don't feel sick or dizzy. I don't have headaches. I have sustainable energy. I don't feel bloated of stuffed. I am comfortable! I really love the way I feel on it!! The food gets monotonous but I feel as though I am not as addicted to food as much anymore. It's not becoming such a big deal for me anymore. I really feel as though I am honoring God by stripping myself of this addiction that I have been holding on to for so long. Life to me has been about my weight, food, and self image. It is not about this.

Romans 14: 17-18 says: "for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For He who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by Men."

Honor God in all things, even in what you put in your body. Honor him by honoring your body. Don't obsess over what you eat, instead simplify it. Focus your attentions back to God. Pray when you have your 3 o'clock slump. Worship God with your morning coffee. Read your Bible as your midnight snack. don't feed boredom with food...... feed it with the real, sustainable, filling word of God!!!
